Membership
Club membership is open to anyone who owns an MG vehicle or aspires to the objectives of the Club.
Membership
Membership renewals are open now from the link at the bottom of the page.
If you have recently purchased a new MG from John Hughes MG and are not an existing MG Car Club member, we are currently offering you 12 months FREE membership, so that you can enjoy the fellowship of other MG owners and the activities of our club.
To join the club, go to the bottom this page and complete the online membership application form.
Members can participate in the Club’s many and varied social and competition events organised throughout the year and can access concessional vehicle licensing, an MG library and technical advice. A monthly magazine, ‘The Octagon‘, is emailed to all members.
As well as the main Perth area social and competition events, the club has a very active Southern Chapter, who organise separate social events in the general area around Mandurah. All of these events are listed in the Events Calendar and Upcoming Event News on this website, as well as in the monthly Octagon magazine and are open for any club member to participate in.
Individual & Family as well as Pensioner membership is available and can be applied for by completing the online application form below. Our current club membership exceeds 300 MG owners.
Code 404 Concessional & Concession For Classics (C4C) Vehicle Licensing
Club members can register their Concession Compliant Vehicle through the club as we are an approved car club for this purpose.
We stress however that all persons including current concessional registered vehicle owners and those intending to register their vehicle under one of these regulations, are recommended to download the relevant regulations and read and fully understand the requirements. The rules and regulations of each the plans are quite different.
Code 404 concessional vehicle licensing basically covers vehicles 25 years or older that are in original condition and have not been modified in any way. Concession for Classics (C4C) however is quite different and covers modified eligible street rods and all vehicles manufactured prior to 1990 and has completely different allowable vehicle use rules.
ONCE AGAIN – WE URGE ALL MEMBERS WITH CURRENT CONCESSIONAL VEHICLE LICENSING AND ALSO THOSE MEMBERS PLANNING FUTURE CONCESSIONAL VEHICLE LICENSING, TO DOWNLOAD AND FULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE REGULATIONS.
Doug Bush is our concessional licensing registrar and can be contacted to discuss any queries you may have. Go to the Contact Us tab for contact details for the club.
A copy of the Code 404 Handbook and C4C Code of Conduct can be downloaded below.
Code 404 Concessional Impromptu Run Notification
