As was advised in the February Octagon magazine, a Night Sky Tour at the Perth Observatory in Bickley has been organised to follow the annual Twilight Run, to be held on Sunday 18th February.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the hills to end at the Observatory around 6:30pm for a BYO picnic/BBQ dinner there, followed by the Night Sky Tour at 8:30pm (for those who booked and paid in advance) which is conducted by an Observatory volunteer and takes 1 ½ to 2 hours. The moon will be around a third full on that date and therefore highly visible on a clear night. If you have ever wished to see the mountains of the moon or the rings of Saturn, this is your opportunity!
