Classic Midweek Brunch Run – Thursday 13th January 2022

Airmail Service 100 Year Anniversary – Tuesday 14th December

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first aerial mail service in WA by Major Norman Brearley and other aviators including Charles Kingsford-Smith, there will be a fly-in by two Tiger Moth aircraft onto Langley Park in Perth City.

The organiser, the Royal Aero Club of WA, has invited MG owners to participate and requested that they assemble their cars at the eastern end of Langley Park (access off Plain St) at 12pm midday, from where they will proceed down the Park to line up ‘nose to tail’ with one car space between each to form a runway boundary. The Tiger Moths are scheduled to land around 1:00pm and depart at around 2:15pm. MGs from the MG Owners Club, TC Owners Club and Pre-War Sports Car Club will also be participating. AGM and Nog’n’Natter – Thursday 16th December

The Club’s Annual General Meeting and Nog’n’Natter will be held at the Alf Faulkner Hall (cnr Mary Crescent and Ivanhoe Street, Eden Hill) on Thursday 16th December. An ample supper with beverages (beer, wine and soft drinks) will be provided at no charge by the Club from 6:30pm, with the monthly General Meeting held at 7:30pm and the AGM to commence at 8:00pm. The President’s Annual Report and the Club’s financial statements will be presented, followed by election of the management committee members for 2022.

Classics Midweek Brunch Run – Thursday 2nd December

The December Classic Midweek Run will be a brunch run, commencing earlier than usual from the Mundaring Sculpture Park in Jacoby St Mundaring, gathering at 8:30am for an 8:45am start. This Run is organized by our Club and an invitation will be extended to other British marque Clubs to join us for a pleasant 70km scenic drive through the hills to a brunch venue. MGA Register Run – Sunday 21st November

The MGA Register is hosting a lunch run to the Last Drop Elizabethan in Canns Rd Bedfordale on Sunday 21st November, meeting at McDonalds in Midland (corner Great Eastern Hwy and Lloyd St) from 10:30am for a prompt 11:00am start.
The total run length will be around 70km and should take around 1 ½ hours.

Ladies Very Social Run – Sunday 14th November

A Ladies Very Social Run is being held on Sunday 14th November, meeting at the Clubrooms at 9.00am for a 9.15am start, then driving to Kalamunda for the Farmers Market, on to Mundaring for lunch at a local café and a browse in the art & craft shops, then down to Midland for coffee and ice cream.
