About the Club

The M.G. Car Club of Western Australia Inc. was founded in 1963 as a not-for-profit organisation administered by a committee of volunteer enthusiasts.

The Club is affiliated to the MG Car Club of UK, which was founded in 1930 and is based in Abingdon. There are MG Car Club Centres in every Australian State and the ACT, and each year a National Meeting is hosted by one of these MGCC Centres over Easter.

The aim of the MG Car Club of WA is to maintain interest in the MG marque and create a forum for owners of all types of MGs to discuss technical and common interest matters relating to the vehicles, as well as to participate in social outings and competition events. The Club now has over 300 members.

The Club also has other advantages for members which include:

The Club publishes a monthly newsletter magazine, “The Octagon”, outlining upcoming events and providing general information for members.

General meetings for all Club members, family and friends are held in the Clubrooms at 110 Hardy Road Bayswater on the third Tuesday of every month starting at 7.30pm.

These meetings keep members advised of current and future activities as well as enabling members to participate in Club decisions, or join sub-committees for the organisation of special events etc, should they so desire.

The Club welcomes visitors to these general meetings and accordingly if you have an interest in the MG marque, please accept our invitation to attend the next general meeting.
