MG Car Club of Western Australia

Each year, the Club presents several awards and trophies, based on a number of criteria. Some are based on performance throughout the year in various competition events, while other awards are presented to members who have excelled in other club activities. List of annual awards, with criteria used in scoring
Club champion	The highest overall points scorer across all points scoring categories
Intermediate Champion	The highest overall points scorer who has not previously been Club Champion. This award encourages new participants in competition.
Ladies Champion	The highest overall female points scorer.
Conditions Trophy	Highest score from combined results of both Conditions Events – Concourse d’Elegance and Concessional Inspection. From 2005, this has been superseded with individual awards at the annual Concours d'Elegance.
Speed Trophy	Highest score from combined results of nominated speed events (hillclimbs and sprints).
Skills Trophy	Highest score from combined results of nominated skills events (motorkhanas and autokhanas).
Touring Road Events Trophy	Highest score from combined results of Touring Road events (tarmac rallies). Introduced in 2003.
Regularity Events Trophy	Highest score from combined results of Regularity events. Introduced in 2004.
Club Attendance Award (former Champion Club Person)	Highest score of attendance points from all non-competition MGCC events, including general meetings, MGCC social runs and organised runs to other events such as British Car Day.
Best 1st Year Member	Awarded by the Committee to a newly joined member who in their first year of membership has contributed considerably to the club throughout the year. Introduced in 2005.
Economy Run Trophy	Awarded to the winner of the Annual Economy Run
Octagon Award	Awarded by the Octagon editor for exceptional (non committee related) contribution to the Octagon
President's Trophy	Awarded by the President and at the President's discretion, to a member who has been outstanding during the year in some way and has contributed to the Club or Club members throughout the year. Introduced in 2005.
CAMS Accredited Official	Awarded to a member who is a CAMS Accredited Official, who has either been the most active throughout the year, or who has made significant progress as an Accredited Official.
Outstanding Club Member	Awarded by the Committee in recognition for significant and outstanding contribution to the club throughout the year.
